BCSIR will take 33 Research Fellows, Maximum Allowance of 55 Thousand
Bangladesh Council of Science and Industry Research (BCSIR) has published notification for the recruitment of Research Fellows. A total of 33 people will be awarded the fellowship. Interested candidates should apply in prescribed form of BCSIR.

Qualification : PhD in Science/Technology.
Monthly Allowance : BDT.55,000
2. Post Name : Dr. Qudrat-e-Khuda Doctoral Fellowship
No. of Posts: 7
Subjects : Chemistry/ Applied Chemistry/ Microbiology/ Pharmacy/ Biochemistry/ Biochemistry and Molecular Biology/ Nutrition and Food Science/ Zoology/ Environmental Science
Eligibility : Registered for PhD degree in relevant subject.
Monthly Allowance : BDT.40,000
3. Post Name : Prof. Nurul Afsar Khan Postgraduate Fellowship
No. of Posts: 6
Subjects : Chemistry-II, Applied Chemistry-I, Microbiology-I, Applied Physics-I, Environmental Science-I.
Qualification : MPhil/MS Degree.
Monthly Allowance : BDT.35,000
4. Post Name : Professor Mofiz Uddin Ahmed Memorial Fellowship

Subjects : Chemistry-II, Applied Chemistry-I, Biochemistry/ Biochemistry and Molecular Biology-II, Nutrition and Food Science-I, Geology and Mining-I
Qualification : Master's degree in thesis group in relevant subject

5. Post Name : Dr. Abdullah Al-Muti Sharfuddin Memorial Fellowship

Subjects : Chemistry-2, Pharmacy-1, Nutrition and Food Science-1, Zoology-1, Physics-1
Qualification : Master's degree in thesis group in relevant subject
Monthly Allowance : BDT.35,000

Conditions of Fellowship
The fellowship will be awarded initially for one year. The duration of the fellowship may be extended subject to the recommendation of the Evaluation Committee and Board approval on satisfactory progress of research. In general the total duration of the fellowship will never exceed four years. Fellows will be paid allowances at prescribed rates.
How to apply
The prescribed application form can be downloaded from BCSIR Secretariat or BCSIR website. Two recent passport size photographs (attested), attested copies of educational qualification certificates and attested copies of various examination mark sheets, attested copies of National Identity Card or Birth Registration Card should be sent directly or by post along with the application form. Application fee
A non-refundable pay order/bank draft of Tk 300 in favor of Secretary, Bangladesh Science and Industrial Research Council, Dhaka should be sent.
