Position: Boiler Operator

Vacancy: 1

Responsibilities:

1. Boiler first class operators Record details of problems and performance of boilers in logbooks
2. Maintains oil heaters, pumps, oil storage facilities, and oil unloading equipment.
3. Have to complete boiler safety checks
4. Maintain the correct water and fuel levels in boilers.
5. Maintain the correct temperature and pressure in boilers
6. Test boiler water and add chemicals to adjust the water quality
7. Clean and maintain boilers and work areas
8. The knowledge about how to use and maintain boilers Ability to supervise the work of others.
9. Need to understanding of fuels used to heat boilers and chemicals used in boilers
10. Must have knowledge about water, water treatment, steam generation and combustion.
11. Ability to operate and regulate boiler plant equipment and to make adjustments as required for plant output.
12. Thorough knowledge of steam plant safety standards and procedures.

 

Education Requirements:

HSC

Additional Qualification:

Professional Certification: 1st class Govt. Boiler Operation license holder (Mandatory)

Experience:

3 Years
